Hello, everyone,

I evaluated Hibernate for about 1 week, and I feel it's a good project.

I want to use it as the O/R mapping tool in one big project, the concern of my team is that whether there is any reference case to use hibernate in big project, for example, those above 100M US service proejct.

Regards,
Gao Kai

Unfortunately, even though we know Hibernate is being used by US fortune 100 companies, we also find that these kinds of companies don't like to be very forthcoming about this fact ;)

I was actually chatting with the sales director for JBoss the other day, and he says they have the same problem. Huge projects using JBoss that they can't talk about.

Its a pain.

I can understand the fact, but I really need these data.

So, can you give me the maximum volumn of project that use Hibernate, although you can omit the project name.

Regards,
Gao Kai

my project is not as big, but we are going to put about
100 megabytes+ of content in our knowlege management sytsem using hibernate.

If you try to judge by value of money spend, then hibernate will clearly lose :)

If all goes well (i.e. my company gets investment capital) I'll be using hibernate in almost 500 installations nationwide.

That's just our first client. :)

Greg, if all goes well, I would really appreciate if you could add a note to the "Who Uses Hibernate?" page?

If possible.....

Thanks.
