Can anyone point me to a working example of accessing an Oracle function or procedure returning ref cursors using the JPA 2.1 stored procedure features? Any attempt ends with hibernate saying that the dialect doesn't support them. I can access them with plain JDBC so the driver is working but strangely enough the connection metadata returns false for the support check. I've tried latest Hibernate 4.x and 5.x...

There is one in the 5.1 User Guide unit tests.

Search for "sp_person_phones" and you'll find what you need.
