Hi!

We've made a new OGM dialect for Apache Ignite (http://ignite.apache.org/features/datagrid.html) and it's commertial version GridGain (http://www.gridgain.com/products/in-mem ... /overview/)
I put code into my repository here https://github.com/Z-z-z-z/hibernate-ogm, but I'm really new in commiting something to open source project. I don't understand what I have to do to see my changes in your head repository?
Could anyone help me?

Thank you
Victor

Send a pull request :)

That's cool news,
I haven't checked your branch yet but I guess we will need a way to test the dialect for the commercial product.

Make also sure to follow how checkstyle rules for the source code and the contribution guideline.

That said, if you send a pull request with some short descriptions, we will review it and let you know what needs to be changed and how we plan to proceed.

Thanks a lot,
Davide

I've created a JIRA: https://hibernate.atlassian.net/browse/OGM-983

Are GridGain vs Ignite similar enough to not need us to test on both?

In other words, I'm asking if your OGM GridDialect behaves exactly the same on both storage engines.

It's a bit problematic to deploy proprietary software on ci.hibernate.org so I'd hope it could be good enough to just test Ignite.

Hi Victor!

My name is Valentin and I'm one of the committers and PMC members of Apache Ignite. Are you still working on the Ignite dialect for Hibernate OGM? I believe this can be very useful for the Ignite community, are you interested in sharing the results with us? I will be happy to spread a word about the work you're doing. I'm also ready to answer any Ignite related questions if you have any.

Thanks,
Val
