I'm looking for a way to parse HQL query strings.
For example I need to append restrictions to the where clause or replace columns in the select clause.

I couldn't find any suitable way of doing this - except for very cumbersome string parsing by hand.
Is there any support from hibernate in doing this - or are there any proprietary hql parsers?
The only thing I found is the internal antlr HqlParser but I couldn't make any progress there...
