 Post subject: Difference between Filter vs Where clause in hibernate

Team, May I know the difference between filter and where clause in hbm files. Where clause seems to be can use only plan sql file where as filter can query with pojo object(like hql). Is it correct?

Can I use where clause in pojo file like filter?
