Hi,

I am a recent graduate who has been told that I'll be working with hibernate and jpa in my new job. I have experience with java, and jdbc but absolutely none with hibernate. I have tried several beginner tutorials over the last few days and couldn't get any of them to work. My ideal setup as it replicates work is using jdbc, hibernate and eclipse. Maven is the build tool I've been told I'll be using as well, which is also new to me. Could anyone recommend to me good beginners reference material / tutorials?

Any help would be gratefully received.

All examples use Maven and have been tested in Eclipse (among other options).
