I am using hibernate search clustering as Master/Slave configuration. My slave is configured in my application deployed on tomcat.
If I don't provide the jms connection factory configuration in my tomcat then the application deployed on server on my local machine throws exception for the jms connection factory configuration not found, but the same does not happen if I test it on the production/staging environment, so please suggest if there can be some configuration mistake.

You might have some typo in the configuration? I'd suggest to compare them with some diff tool.
