@Valid and grouping

Hibernate validation: Is there a possibility to execute the @Valid tag conditionally? Something like the grouping attribute on the other tags?

Not as of Hibernate Validator 4.2 or Bean Validation 1.0.

But there are plans to provide related functionality with BV 1.1. See BVAL-208 for more details. Also feel free to comment on the ticket to further describe your use case.
