I want to execute sql script at my application startup ,
i have idea about the import.sql file but it works only the hb2ddl.auto=create mode only , i can not use that because it will empty my other table also .

I have another option also like write the whole script in my dao then execute it but the script is too long .

any suggestion ?

Hi,

Did you ever find a solution to this? I'd like a script to run at startup even when hibernate.hbm2ddl.auto = validate or update...
