In Chapter 1 of the ver 3.6 documentation there is a detailed Hibernate tutorial. There is a note at the bottom of the Chapter 1 TOC says that "All code is contained in the tutorials/web directory of the project source". Note sure what that means as there is no 'tutorials/web' directory in the release 3.6 release bundle. Also, when I searched of all the files in the release bundle I could not find the tutorial files

If you go hibernate.org site, community material, 3.6 docs there is a Getting Started Guide. In the TOC under Perface - 2. Tutorial Code is says:
The referenced projects and code for the tutorials in this guide are available at "files/hibernate-tutorials.zip". I downloaded the hibernate-tutorials.zip file. There are a number of tutorial file sets in the zip file. However, there was not a set of files that matched the ones described in Chapter 1 of the ver 3.6 documents.

Does any one know where the tutorial files (the one's from Chapter 1) are located? Any pointers would be appreciated.

I too am mystified and frustrated.trying to find the code. The current version of the Hibernate Core Reference references directories that don't exist in the distribution. (I have searched for them recursively under the distribution's top-level directory, so even if the answer is supposed to be something like "look in project", or"look in project/src", they are not there. This is beyond frustrating. The Hibernate documentation appears to be excellent, and the getting started examples seem decent, but I can't even begin to work on them.

Hi, I have begun to read the 'Hibernate Reference Documentation" for 3.6. And I found that the source code metioned in:

• page xi: doc/reference/tutorial/

is located actually here https://fisheye2.atlassian.com/browse/Hibernate-Core/doc/.

You could take a look and say if I am correct because I just found it and I haven't got the time to look around it. It will be nice if there is a zip containing all the source code for the tutorials in the 'Hibernate Reference Documentation".
