Hi friends, I am very new to hibernate. I am trying to execute my first hibernate application.

I am following the steps given in following link.

But after all the steps, when i run the application, the browser throws an error saying "required resource not found".

Please let me know where am i going wrong.

If i try to run simple hibernate example in the link. http://www.roseindia.net/hibernate/runn ... mple.shtml ..This program also shows the same error.

That sounds like you've got a problem with your webserver setup.
You should post a more detailed error message though if you can.

Hi,

I made few changes and now the exception it is throwing is as follows


Exception in thread "main" org.hibernate.HibernateException: No TransactionManagerLookup specified
at org.hibernate.impl.SessionFactoryImpl.getCurrentSession(SessionFactoryImpl.java:503)
at hiber.first.ex.ContactSession.main(ContactSession.java:23)


Any idea what changes should i be doing?
