Hi:
I meet the table-too large problem, and someone tell me that I can try the hibernate shards to split the table in the application level.

This is the orignal post:

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4094546/puzzled-by-the-max-number-records-of-a-table-in-mysql

When I downlod the hibernate shards I found that it is built on 2007,so I wonder if it support the hibernate 3.x?

Hi,
yes it is, Hibernate 3.0 is even older than 2007. You should use Hibernate 3.2.x with Shards, I'm not sure how well it was tested with more up to date versions.
