NumericRangeQuery was introduced in Lucene 2.9, to use it in Hibernate Search 3.2.0, how to annotate the field? For example, for an "int" type field, to support range search, how to annotate the field? Please give an example.

At the moment this is not yet supported. See also the jira issue HSEARCH-434. In the meantime you should be able to use a TermRangeQuery, of course with a performance penalty.

as Hardy said, there are no nice helpers included yet in Hibernate Search as for other conversions, but you should be able to code your own fieldBridge with minor effort.
