Is there a way to have a row number added to an HQL select?
I need to insert into a table of rankings the row number for the rank and in one sql call (or efficiently).
Something like:
Code:
insert into Ranking(rank, user) select rownum, u from User u order by u.points desc

with a bulkUpdate. I use HibernateTemplate.
