 Post subject: does commit fail with JTA transaction rollsback implicitly?

does commit fail with JTA transaction rolls back implicitly and ends the transaction ? As i'm facing problem when commit fails and i try to invoke rollback it gives error "java.lang.IllegalStateException: Cannot get Transaction for rollback".

Yes,
Transactions are rollbacked implicitly after commit-failure, if you use the JTA approach instead to the classic hibernate approach.
The same thing happens also if you use the JPA-approach.
