We need to pass values from the application through JDBC other than in SQL statements.

Particularly we need to pass values in the JDBC connection URL and Username and Password fields.

We were hoping to use an Expression Language as the parameter to the JDBC connection for URL and Username and Password.

So if that isn't currently possible, can we do it by extending the applicable Hibernate class to accommodate it and if so which class would we extend?
