hibernate trace says you are using Oracle Database 10g Express Edition Release 10. Are you sure to use a suitable jdbc driver for Oracle10g?

I haven't got any error with Hibernate 3.3.2 and Oracle10g (driver version 10.2.0.1.0 picked here http://www.oracle.com/technology/softwa ... 10201.html)

anyways, the message that you are getting isn't a serious problem (just warning because hibernate cannot configure some properties from DatabaseMetaData). you can disable this checking by setting hibernate.temp.use_jdbc_metadata_defaults = false

Really many thanks

I downloaded ojdbc14.jar from oracle site, I changed some database column from DATE to TIMESTAMP and it works perfectly!

Many Thanks

Nicola
