 Post subject: Nested new Instantiation

I all, I was wondering if nowdays is there a way of doing nested instantiations in a hql query so I dont have to use DTO's???...If not, does someone knows if it's possible to do this with toplink or another persistence framework or another solution to use ligthweigt objectsssss?
