Hi guys. Hoping you can help.

Looking for an i18n locale / labels solution, the only posts I see are pretty much all either really old, or not fully implemented. Usually a derivative of Gavin Kings solution:

http://www.theserverside.com/tt/blogs/s ... ernational

This worries me into thinking there must be a more modern approach that everyone is using, but is not documented or demo'd anywhere, is this the case ?

Can anyone point me to a fully implemented, modern (JPA annotations) approach of i18n, similar to Gavin's approach, as a demo on the hibernate website or a documented example of this pattern, as I am unable to find anything even in the Hibernate books. Just the simplest example with one entity, saving, reading etc would be a lifeline.

Thanks in advance for your help,

HibernateNewb.

Hi, I'm looking for the very same thing. I can't believe there is no Best Practice for doing such a common task! I tried to use Gavin's approach, but it has limitations (saving several translations...). Did you find something?

Thank you

I have posted a possible solution for the JPA/Hibernate I18N issue at http://blog.starmountsystems.com/implem ... /#more-178
