is it possible to use hibernate search and its annotations with the version of hibernate, hibernate annotations and entity manager that comes with jboss 4.2.2?

Hi,

What version of Annotations are used in this server. If the jar name does not tell you the version you can check the log output for ant war/ear using Annotations. It should contain a message with the version.

For the latest version of Search you will need Annotations 3.4.

So guess it is not possible :(

Older versions of Hibernate Search are compatible, like 3.0.1.

Another solution, which is what I usually do, is to replace the hibernate libraries in JBoss with updated versions.
