As you know, the Mapped entity classes come in three states:

1- Transient.
2- Persistent.
3- Detached.

Now, "Detached" instances can be made "Persistent" by calling for example updat().

My question is, how can we make "Persistent" instances be "Detached"? Is that possible?

Thanks.
