I have noticed that my class bridge for my indexed entity is not being called even when I do a manual indexing. I am using Hibernate Search 3.1.1 GA with applied patch from viewtopic.php?f=9&t=999947

This is somewhat strange. I will try a version before the patch to see if it works.

can you provide some more detail. How does your ClassBridge look like? How do you use it in your indexed entity?

I think this is related to the Spring JTA issue as mentioned in viewtopic.php?f=9&t=999811

Even with the work around the event listeners are not registering the tx commit and as a result problems of updates are occuring. Struggling with this issue and no help from Spring guys. the class bridge is very simple so I don't believe it's a problem with the class bridge. I believe the @Indexed entity is not being updated because of tx issue.
