Hi,

Environment:
MySQL 5.1
Hibernate 3.2

I have a table definition with year(4) as data type. How can I insert values into this field?
I get the following error:
Data truncated for column 'release_year' at row 1 hibernate

Please help me. I have been struggling with this since a day.

Thanks & Regards,
--Rajani

I suggest you to attach more data. It would be great if you put the mapping files and the POJOs...
