Is there a way to retrieve statistics about tablespace size and usage by using Hibernate? Thanks in advance.

I think you'll want to defer to your native database monitoring tools for such a thing.

In the current application we use JDBC and some stored procedures to get these information and show them on a monitoring page within a web application. Now we want to switch completly to Hibernate. Is there any way to get these information?
