When I call session.merge() I assume Hibernate has managed to work out what has changed between my detached object and the DB-persisted entity.
How can I get access to what it thinks has changed? Can I do something with the DefaultMergeEventListener and its copyCache map? There isnt enough Javadoc with this class to work out what to use ...
Or will intercepting some kind of flush event be better?
thanks, Baljeet.
