Is there a way to configure hibernate to skip the second level cache when the cache server is not available?
We are using memcache for the hibernate L2 cache. It works well when the memcache server is up and running.
However, hibernate would stop working if it can't connect to memcache server. I am wondering if there is a way to configure hibernate to bypass the cache when it is not available.

Thanks
