Hi, I put Hibernate in our code and we are using an older version of log4j. When I try to run c3p0, it always throws an exception do to logging problems. Is there anyway I can get c3p0 to accept an older version of log4j or somehow disable the logging?

For that matter, what is the advantage of using c3p0 over simply adding <property name="hibernate.connection.pool_size">10</property> to my hibernate.cfg.xml?
