I'm new to hibernate. I have been trying to develop my first new application for over a week now, but in vain. I am encountering a runtime exception, which is java.lang.IllegalAccessError. I have read in many forums that it is a problem with jar files and classpath. I had all the jar files added to the classpath, problem persists. Then, I removed all the jar files and I tried to download the jar files afresh to add them to the classpath. But, I having this problem of finding the right jar files. All tutorials ask me to download hibernate core and add the jar files to the classpath, but some of jars files like asm, asm-attrs, cglib are not included in the hibernate core. How do I get necessary hibernate jar files for developing a simple helloworld application or Event application? Please advice.

It will get you started. Also, a search will also find a lot of instructions and guidance. Start simple and more to more complex areas as your success grows.
