Hi,

i woudl like to use Oracle 11.
Does hibernate support Oracle 11 database ?

According to http://www.hibernate.org/80.html Oracle 10g is supported. I have used Hibernate with 10g without any problems. Even though 11 isn't listed, you could try using it with the 10g dialect. I have seen this work on occasion.
