Hi

Currently I am having a look at NHibernate and seeing how it compares to technologies that I am familiar with.

I have searched the documentation and Google and I cannot find anything similar to TransactionScope.

My understanding of TransactionScope is that the ambient context is managed/inherited for you.

Is there anything similar for NHibernate (other than manually managing it)? If there is could you please provide a link to documentation and or code samples.

I would also like to see something like attributed programming (much like COM+) although I am not sure how such a thing would be implemented.

Thanks
Tahir

**Update**

I have been looking at NHibernate and I have found that Castle ActiveRecord seems to support all that I ask for:

Please look at the below link where it talks of TransactionScope (not within System.Transactions but rather in Castle.ActiveRecord).

It also has an attributed model for programming which is better because it is neater imho):
