How to use VARCHAR(100***) in Hibernate

In my code I vant to use varchar type:

I have some java class where is:

.....
private String text;
.....
getters
setters

And *.hbm.xml

But I can write in toMysql DB text under 255 characters please help.

A string (type="string") should do, unless you write very large data (more than 4000 characters, depending on your database).
