Hi!

I'm having this error when I ran the hibernate sample Event class:

javax.servlet.ServletException: could not insert: [myservlet.Event]

Can anybody help me on this...

Do you have any more information on the error? Is the database up? Does the system work when you're not using a Servlet?

the whole message is this:

myservlet.EventManagerServlet.doGet(EventManagerServlet.java:59)
javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:690)
javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:803)

Yes my database is running and I'm using MySql 5.0.

And yes the system is running without the servlet.
