Hello,

This is Vikash from India; I want to replace the entire EJB (2.0) or part of EJB in my project with Hibernate. Could you please suggest me on this.

My project contains two sub projects. One client side and the other is server side project. The server side project is compiled and deployed to Borland Management Console 6.5 and the client side project accesses the jar file created by the compilation of server side project.

As I am new to Hibernate, so please advice me accordingly.

Please let me know if you have got any query.

Many thanks in advance!!!

You're not alone. Lost of people are doing this.

Hibernate is fun and easy to use, but this isn't a minor job you have volunteered for.

Really, the key is first to learn the basics of Hibernate - from there, everything else will fall into place.

Follow my signature links for some tutorials on how to configure Hibernate and how to get everything running. It's a great place to start!

Good luck, and post back!
