First of all there is nothing magic about the Hibernate plugin. You can do everything you want without it. Sure, it may be helpful.

As I recall, when you install the tools into Eclipse, you should see a new Perspective. Do you see it?

OK - that's good, at least.

Here are the ways I can think of to help:

- Describe in more detail what you are doing. Which wizard is failing? What menu are you using? What menu items do you select?

- Open the Eclipse Error Log view, so you can see if any of the plugins are recording errors. To find it, open the "Window" menu, select "Show View". In the submenu, select "Other...". In the "Show View" dialog, type "Error Log" into the text box at the top. Then select the Error Log view in the list below and hit OK. A new view will pop up. This view collects errors thrown from all parts of Eclipse. You might try clearing it (using the icon on the view that says "Clear Error Log" when you hover over it) and then trying your wizard again. If the Hibernate plugins are failing, you will hopefully see some entries in this view. Report back in this forum.

I hope that helps a little.

OK, no error log. I asked you some other questions also. I might be able to help you if you answer them.
