Hi to all,
This is raghav,Iam getting "no dialect mapping for jdbc type:1111 " error while am trying to retrieve a "uniqueidentifier" data into "string".Even in hbm files also i specified the type as "java.lang.String".
can anybody plz suggest me a good solution?

It sounds like there might be an inconsistency between the data in your Java program and the data type in the database.

What is the datatype in the database? What is your database?

Hi Cameron McKenzie,

Thankyou for your Quick reply.And We are using postgresql-8.1. And The DataType in DataBase is "uniqueidentifier".I am trying to access as "java.lang.String" in both hbm and POJO class . Can you plz provide me the solution.
