Hello

how can avoid auto indexing all records from a table? For example if method shouldIndex() return false, I would like to not index that record.

thank you

Code:
@Indexed
@Entity
public class User implements Serializable {

   @Field(name="username", index=org.hibernate.search.annotations.Index.UN_TOKENIZED, store=Store.YES)
   public java.lang.String getUsername() {
      return username;
   }

   @Transient
   public boolean shouldIndex(){
      return flag;
   }

}

there is a post on the subject, basically it's better to index it including the flag. And filter down the road your data with a Lucene Boolean query
