Read Encripted data

There is a column in the database that is encripted. The Entity should return the decripted value when queried. How can I achieve this.

Maybe you should decrypt after retrieving the data, not on the fly.

I am using a sql query with a procedure to decript it. I have to populate the Entity with the row values of the result set. I was wondering if it's possible to specify the return type in when calling the getNamedQuery method.
