Hi
I've been considering using Hibernate Shards for a new application (well really not using it at the time but making my application migratable (e.g. using Criteria instead of HQL, or even using hibernate directly instead of behind JPA etc.) but I noticed that the release date has long been surpassed and that no new issues were resolved in JIRA recently.
Any news would be good news :)

Regards

Too much to do, too few developers, and too little time.

Hibernate Shards is pretty effective as it is, and too much work has gone into it to see it put into the dust bin.

It will go GA eventually.
