hello
this is my fist question.
i am trying to install hibernate into one tomcat 5.0.X with the 1.4 jdk.
which version must i to download? the currrent?
which files must i to download for working the tomcat against one postgresql database using the jdk 1.4

Highly recommend you read the first couple chapters of the manual.

You will need Hibernate 3.2 (current is OK; 3.3.x will require 1.5), and your database driver jar. All the dependencies required by Hibernate are shipped in the lib folder so you should not need anything else.
