I'm trying to use Annotation search, but I got some error like this:

Initial SessionFactory creation failed.java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org.apache.lucene.store.FSDirectory.getDirectory(Ljava/lang/String;)Lorg/apache/lucene/store/FSDirectory;
Exception in thread "Thread-1" java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError

That error occurs when I used :

sessionFactory = new AnnotationConfiguration().configure().buildSessionFactory();

on my HibernateUtil.java

and this line:

Session session = HibernateUtil.getSessionFactory().openSession();

on the other class.

Help me...

Hi, could you please post the complete stack trace?
It looks like you have some wrong lib versions on you classpath,
are you sure you are using the Lucene version that comes with the Hibernate Search version you are using?
