How to implement outer-join with literal in hibernate???

I have a query :
SQL = select roll from student where '31-Dec-2000' = dateOfBirth(+)

Can anyone tell me , how can i implement this ???

yeah i agree how are you trying to do this? please explain more.... i know xdoclet in the @hibernate.set has a where clause option...
