Hi guys,

My manager just asked me to find out if our version of hibernate (3.0.5 and 3.2.1) needs to be upgraded to the latest version.

The problem comes when he asked me to prove why we should migrate that, exposing all critical problems that we have in our used version.

I tried to find something like that in JIRA and releases notes, but it is a impossible job to do.

So, does anyone knows if there is any critical issue that I could avoid just by migrating that?

Thanks in advance,

What problems do you have with the current version you use?

Well,

There is some mappings that only works for 3.2.1. The problem is that the bank we work to, has homologated 2.1.8 and we are about to ask for a new homologation, but before ask that he wants to make sure that this version will last for a long time in the project.

Ask in the forum is the only way I see to find an answer.

Thanks
