We want to access our Database Hibernate and Oracle VPD.

This seems very easy to me, but I am not sure if it is enough. Did anyone use the approach of writing a custom ConnectionProvider ?
I fear that a connection might be used by another Session while still configured for a diffrent User.

Does anyone have an argument against my fear ?

Did anyone use Hibernate and VPN together so far (experiances) ?

I went through
URL1: http://www.adp-gmbh.ch/ora/security/vpd/index.html the pure implementation of oracle vpd in the console level, where by it is working fine. where by i tried this in hibernate application after going thru the URL2: http://javazone.org/howto/hibernate-with-oracle-vpd
Even i have posted my comment in that site regarding my doubt.

How to establish connection like connect Peter/Peter as specified in URL1.

Will the code given in the URL2 is sufficient to work around, but then it is not working for me, did anyone worked on Oracle VPD in hibernate or java application.

If is so, could u pls share ur ideas or knowledge with us, as i have to implement this functionality.

If any pdf or websites given some clue about this would help me a lot.
