Hi,

I am looking for a way to obtain automatic version checking without using an extended persistence context. I know that tools like Toplink (not essentials) enables this. Is there a way to obtain it?
In case it shouldn't be possible, can I use extended persistence context in Session beans (not ejb)? Or in conversion scope beans (spring web flow)? Are there drawbacks using it?

Thanks in advance
