Hello,

Has anybody managed to configure the application similiar to
following one:
- Application based on J2EE 1.4 (EJBs 2.1),
- part of the code is using JDBC access to database and the other
part is using persistence layer based on JPA,
- JPA DAOs and JPA objects (entity manager, etc) are defined in Spring,
- transaction management for DAOs is done with Spring annotations,
- everything should work under Websphere 6.1.

I've tried to use JTATransactionManager in Spring and
WebSphereExtendedJTATransactionLookup in Hibernate but it seems
not to work. I've tried different configurations (CMTs, BMTs) and
transaction lookup class always throws an exception.

I can provide the simple application if somebody is willing
to take a look. :-)

I would be very grateful for tips how to make it work under
WebSphere 6.1. :-)

Kind Regards,

Tomasz
