I'm new to hibernate, and I was wondering about this probalby stupid/simple question.

Is it possible to utilize several tables to describe one class?
The examples I've seen so far all refer to an object class that seems to be unique?

Yes, you can map multiple tables to a single class

oh yeah, I figured that, but can you provide a mapping example?

I can't seem to find any, and I'm sure my mental paradigm of it is wrong.

At least with annotations it's called secondary table.

If you don't find an example in the reference documentation you'll probably find one in the svn repository

I've actually got it working after rereading the documentaiton for the 3rd time. I was just somewhat frustrated.
