 Post subject: Hibernate checking database automatically

Could someone please name the area or give me some links to how to solve this problem. I have implemented a web app with hibernate and i want it to check to make sure the table in the database has not change. Specifically if the user is on the page with the data and the dba changes the data in the db, then when the user refreshes how to I consistently make sure that the data the user sees while using the app stays fresh. Any help. Thanks
