We have a client server application. All of our nhibernate Data access layer runs on the server. We use lazy loading for collections, so obviously Nhibernate generates dynamic proxies for these collections and those are the ones that get serialized to the client when objects are queries from the data access layer.

The server layer is all .Net remote objects.

We are running into an exception when we try to send an object to the server (for save operation) and when this object has proxies attached to it via a collection. I know this is not an nhibernate issue but I wanted to check if anyone else has run into same issue and found a solution. The server side deserialization fails with the error: -
