 Post subject: performance issues are cropping up during runtime

Hi

1)Bags have been used for child table mapping, in bag mapping ids do not get generated. So performance issues are cropping up during runtime with huge data.
What are the other options to change this without much code change

2)If application is distributed, transaction exceptions are not communicated to the client. how can it be possible to communicate it to the user.
