Hi,
I have a question about the using memcached and the NHibernate.Caches.MemCache provider.
I have installed the memcached wind32 service and started it.
I have set up the file by adding the following keys to my web.config:
Code:
<section name="memcache" type="NHibernate.Caches.MemCache.MemCacheSectionHandler,NHibernate.Caches.MemCache" />
Code:
<memcache>
<memcached host="10.77.1.160" port="11211" />
/memcache>
And the following key to my Castle configuration:
Code:
<item key="hibernate.cache.provider_class">NHibernate.Caches.MemCache.MemCacheProvider,NHibernate.Caches.MemCache</item>
I have used the SysCache before and there was no extra configuration required.
Is there anything in application start up that I need to do in order to cache my NHibernate objects??
Can anyone clarify if there are more steps to this procedure?
Paul
